Avoid using MCI Worldcom as a wireless phone carrier.
Not sure how they can stay in business. Their billing is unbelievable as is their phone system. They try to send me to a collection agency over bills they have never sent me and admit that they are real behind on. In June I apparently am paying February's bill. In July I get a 3 month bill for April, May and June. It is March that they were collecting on. When I try to call them I get all lines are busy, finally I get through and he tells me that I have to call the accounting department. I ask him if I am going to have the same problems getting through, he assures me no. No, not the same problems, this time I get hung up everytime I get put on hold. I tried 7 times before I got through. I told her I would pay her right now for April, May and June but not March until I see a call detail because she said it was $30 with $6 in long distance. I never use my phone like that. I find out much later (they never did send me a detail even after numerous requests) it was only $17 which is more normal.
Anyway they take out the $49.63 out of my account...3 times! I of course freak. I call them on Monday (I noticed their error on a Saturday night online) and then notice they put back all of except 33 cents. Huh? I tell the lady on the phone (same problems getting ahold of them). She just laughs.
By the end of that week I try to call them again for some other stupidity reason and when I finally get through the person there drops the phone which prompts me to ask "does anyone other there even know how to use a phone?" She tells me all I owe them is $17 (March's bill) and then I am clear. I pay them and cancel. End of story, sheesh!
