What Hollace Has Been Up To Lately! Hollace is now 19 months old. Where did my baby go. Still can't recognize awhole lot of what she says but I know she understands EVERYTHING! She still has 6 teeth (a couple might be poking though some day). She was 22.12 lbls and 31.5" at her 18 month check up. 50 percentile on both. If you recall at her 15 month appointment (previous issue of this page) she was 32.25" or something. I don't think she shrunk. I think there was measuring errors at both appointments. Oh who knows how tall she is, she is perfect at whatever height she is. Chicago Slumber The last weekend in August about 15 of us from all over the country met in a hotel in downtown Chicago and had a good old fashion slumber party, no kids, just women who needed to let loose. I should mention somewhere that these are woman I have know for awhile on my March 99 internet playgroup. The hotel staff just loved us, even if we were the "lesbians who met on the internet". On Saturday I lead 6 of us through the subways of Chicago to do some shopping on Michigan Ave. At 4:00 that day we had to get our jammies on, the slumber party began. Sherry-Lynn put everyones hair up in pigtails and we sat around and looked at everyones photo albums and played some Truth and Dare and Twister. We even talked the hotel staff into letting us use the pool which was outside on the roof (it was closed for maintenance). Sunday, we all went home. The weekend flew by way too fast. It was one of the more fun weekends in my life. Come see the fun here Aunt Paula comes a visiting and meets Hollace for the first time The last time I seen my sister Paula was a month before Hollace was born. Since then Paula hasn't been able to make the trip from Baltimore. Well finally she quit her job that kept her chained to her chair and made the long road trip over to mom and dad's to see all. And to meet Hollace and Emma. Jeffery, Paula with Emma, Sarah, Cindy with Hollace The Has-Beens will be once more! I don't know if you have ever checked out my Has-Been pictures or have seen me lately (13 years later) but I have changed A LOT! I have really packed on the pounds while sitting on my butt working on a computer all day. After Pam's weight loss of 80 lbs., I decided it is time for me to do something with the 125 (!) I put on. I have been at it for 7 months now and have lost 60 lbs. The one major thing I have done with my diet was to cut out all sugar and refined flour. I am surprised I haven't missed the sugar at all. I get to eat a lot of great food and still lose weight. I am thrilled and so is RAW. Hopefully by this time next year I will have reached my goal and will be able to pose for more of those sexy photos ;-)
