What Hollace Has Been Up To Lately!

Pushes Us Around

Hollace will not tolerate anyone working in the kitchen. I don't know how we are expected to make dinner. She will get between you and the counter and push you away. I let her continue to push me to see where she would push me and I ended just right outside the kitchen.

Time for a Family Hug!

All me and RAW have to do is to start hugging and look at her and she comes a running. She likes to get in the middle while all three of us go "awwwww" and pat each other on the back. We finish when Hollace feels we are done. She will pull me and RAW close together with her for more if we break it up prematurely.

Tickle, Tickle and a Sniggle

Hollace's favorite new word is "tickle, tickle, tickle. I think she knows what she is talking about because her little hand will scrunch up like she is tickling the air. Another thing she just started is what I call a Sniggle. It is when she scrunches up her face in a goofy grin. It's the cutest thing you even seen. This morning we went out for breakfast and she kept sniggling to everyone who walked past. The waitress said we can leave her for a tip. The service was good, but not that good!

Hollace’s new old fear of the bath

She is getting better but we aren't quite there yet. What we did that has helped the situation with her and the bath was to change her bathtime to morning when she is fresh and ready for adventure instead of night time when she is tired and cranky. She still fusses initially but soon gets to some hardcore playing.

Dizzy Box Sitter

My silly girl likes to get dizzy. She will all of a sudden start walking in circles just for the effect. She then tried to walk which looks like a drunken sailor. Too funny. The bigger issue at hand is her obsession to sit in a box. I don't know if this is a thing with all babies but Hollace can't let a box sit empty. She use to empty a place out in her toy box, climb in (usually backwards) then bring the stuff she ditched back in on top of her. Now she doesn't care, she will get in a full toy box. Tonight she kept trying to pack herself away in her little suitcase. She just sits there looking for things to bring inside the box (or suitcase) with her.

...And She Talks!

Oh my, what a chatterbox. I thought she was speaking French but Amy (Sherry's 17 year old daughter) tells me that isn't French. Hollace will talk to anyone anytime and she uses gestures like an ole pro, waving her hands around and shaking her head while she talks. She even reads me books now while pointing at the pages before turning it. I have a QuickTime video on her Multimedia page of her reading one of her favorites; one of the books with the flaps.
