$185 is Canon's standard/general charge to fix my camera. They say they have this general charge so they can offer free estimates. So that means if it really took $50 to fix my camera, I would still have to pay $185 just for the privilege of them telling it will take $185 to fix it. Ok. Do what you gotta, I need this thing back before vacation.
