When I bought my black dining room table, it didn’t occur to me that it would make a great place for tabletop photography. It is my best photography prop yet!
Last year at this time I also shot a shot of spring.
After 4.5 years, I finally bought a new camera. Right after I started my photoblog in October 2004 I bought the Canon 20D. That camera has served me well and it will continue to as a second camera. Last week I took delivery of a Canon 50D when I got a check for a photo I licensed to a greeting card company.
I shot a lot of photos last weekend testing the new camera out. This photo is the first I have posted with the new camera.
Today is mine and RAW’s 16th wedding anniversary. If you don’t count the times I want to pummel him, I would say we are pretty happy.
I had today off not so much because of the anniversary but because it was the last weekday of Hollace’s spring break and wanted to go out and do something fun. We went to the Lake County Discovery Museum to check out their Prehistoric display. Then it was out to lunch then to see Monsters vs. Aliens which was suppose to be in 3d but not apparently in the multiplex we watched it at (I thought the movie was a bit lame).
It was a nice family day all in all. The chickens above had nothing to do with our day 😉
